Week three of the Icons season. After the funk James Brown weaponized, the message Curtis carried gently. Same room, same doctrine: four hours, one arc, records played front to back with intention.

Session 065 is dedicated to Curtis Mayfield and his legacy. The Impressions, the solo years, Curtom and the records he's written and produced for others. Curtis's music will be accompanied by his contemporaries, and the generations of artists he's inspired. An incredible night of music.

High Bias celebrates art. We deepen our understanding of it, we discover parts of it we may not know and we find other parts that make us who we are. We spend time and energy uplifting the artists and the work they created.

Music is a reflection of the human experience. It's our oldest language and the foundation of what we call culture.

We start with fellowship. The first thirty minutes are for coming in, greeting each other, supporting the vendors, ordering food, finding your spot.

Then we introduce the night. We give thanks for the people present and the ability to do what we came here to do: celebrate us.

For the next three hours, we listen, we sing, we dance and we live. The music, the visuals, the vibe, all working together to create moments that will stay with us long after the night is over.

The last half hour is for gratitude as well. Support the venue, the vendors, and the community. #spreadlove
